We see shots of Big Ben and Parliament as TNA invades London, England. For the first time ever, Impact Wrestling is taking place across the pond and we are told to expect the unexpected. We are then welcomed to tonight’s show and see shots of the packed house as Bobby Roode and Bully Ray make their way to the ring.
Ray grabs a microphone and tells the fans that they aren’t going to see Jeff Hardy tonight since the two of them as they put him through a table last week. Ray says Hardy is finished and he will never be seen from again. Roode then gets a rise from the crowd by saying they it’s great to be back in Ireland before calling out James Storm.
Storm’s music hits as he makes his way to the ring and Ray steps in between him and Roode for a moment as Sting’s music hits. Sting makes his way down to the ring and says he has an update on Jeff Hardy, who said he is doing really good and will be ready for Against All Odds. Sting says he has then booked a four-way match for the TNA World Championship with Bobby Roode defending against James Storm, Bully Ray and Bully Ray at Against All Odds. As for tonight, James Storm will get a chance to get his hands on both Roode and Ray in two separate matches.
Garett Bischoff is walking backstage and is talking on his cellphone. He tells the person on the other line that he will see him soon.
Match 1: Samoa Joe & Magnus vs. Crimson & Matt Morgan (Buckingham Brawl)
Jeremy Borash runs down the rules of the match and says a coin flip will decide who will get the man advantage with both competitors being able to be in the ring at the same time. Samoa Joe & Magnus win the coin toss, thus Morgan and Crimson will have to tag in and out of the match.
The bell rings as Magnus and Joe start out strong against Crimson to pick up a one count. Joe and Magnus take turn dishing out the punishment as Morgan can just stand there and watch. Magnus takes Crimson down with a hard clothesline and Joe follows with a knee drop to pick up another near fall. The fans start a “Joe’s gonna kill you!” chant as they continue to pick Crimson apart. Crimson finally finds an opening and takes down both Joe and Magnus as he makes the tag to his partner.
Morgan comes in and uses his size to take control of the match. Morgan dumps Joe out to the floor and picks up a near fall on Magnus with a side slam. Joe breaks up the pin fall as Crimson comes in a takes Joe out as the two begin to battle on the floor. In the ring, Morgan sets up for the Carbon Footprint, but he misses hand hangs himself up on the turnbuckle. Joe then connects with a kick a tosses him down to the mat as Magnus drops an elbow from the top rope to pick up the pin fall.
We are treated to replays of the match as the announce team wonder if they have earned another title shot. We then see Eric Bischoff walking around in the backstage as the announce team wonders if we will find out tonight who has been training his son as we head into a commercial break.
Eric Bischoff’s music hits as he makes his way to the ring. Bischoff grabs a microphone and says we have all followed along watching his son try to become a professional wrestling. He says he is there to give him a dose a reality and tells Garett to makes his way down to the ring. Garett’s music hits as he comes out and joins his father in the ring.
Bischoff tells his son to enjoy this moment as he is living in a fantasy. He says Garrett being trained by him is a sad waste of time as he won’t ever back him up. Garett says he is sorry to see him upset over his trainer and tells his father to take it up with him. Garett then picks up his phone and takes a phone call for a moment. Garett then tells Bischoff that his trainer is in the building and wants to meet with him tonight.
A video package highlighting Mark Haskins is aired. He talks about competing in the X Division and says that he is the top performer in Europe today. He goes on to say that he can outperform any X Division wrestler and intends to prove it.
Match 2: Mark Haskins vs. Austin Aries
The bell rings as Aries quickly takes Haskins down before doing a little showboating. Haskins then takes Aries down and tries to get under his skin by doing a few paintbrushes and then taking him down with a head scissors. Haskins then tries for a springboard but Aries hangs him up in the ropes before jumping out on the floor on top of Haskins.
Aries rolls Haskins into the ring and hits a elbow drop for a near fall. Haskins is then able to counter Aries’ offense and monkey flips Aries across the ring. Haskins then hits a cross body and a neckbreaker for a couple of near falls. Haskins then heads to the top rope but lands awkwardly as he misses with a Shooting Star Press. Aries then puts Haskins away with a brainbuster and makes him tap out to a bridging submission hold.
We are treated to a series of replays of the match, including the horrible Shooting Star Press, before seeing Aries walk out with the X Division Championship held high over his head. The announce team then hype a couple of upcoming matches, including James Storm against Bobby Roode, which is coming up next.
Video of Brooke Tessmacher is aired, who has made it to the final eight of the 2012 Hooters Dream Girl. We then see Eric Bischoff in the backstage area and he is trying to call for a cab. Sting then grabs his phone and hangs up and brings Bischoff back into the arena.
Match 3: James Storm vs. Bobby Roode
The bell rings as the two lock up and go back and forth in the opening moments. Storm goes for a quick near fall after hitting a knee drop and a leg drop but Roode is able to kick out and escape out to the floor as Storm gets ready for a Last Call superkick. We then head into a commercial break as Roode regroups out on the floor.
We return to the match to see Roode take control of the match and hits Storm with a series of shoulder blocks in the corner of the ring. Roode then picks up a two count after dropping Storm with a front suplex before going back on the attack. Roode picks up a couple of more near falls before Storm begins to fight his way back into the match as the two trade blows in the middle of the ring.
Storm the sets Roode up on the top rope before taking him down with a head scissors. Roode then hits Roode with a back cracker and heads to the top rope to hit a elbow drop for a close pin attempt. Roode is able to counter Storm’s offense and locks him in a crossface but Storm refuses to tap out. Storm rolls his way to the rope to break the hold but Roode utilizes his full five count and keeps it on.
Roode then goes for his fisherman’s suplex but Storm counters and goes for the Eye of the Storm, however, Roode reverses it and hits the fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Roode then gets in the face of the referee before heading out to the floor to grab the TNA Championship Title. Roode brings it in the ring and pushes the referee aside, however, Storm catches him and hits him with Closing Time. Storm then sets up for the Last Call, but Bully Ray comes down to the ringside area and distracts Storm as Roode takes him down with a spear for the pin fall.
After the match, Ray comes into the ring and drives Storm down to the mat and onto the TNA Championship. Sting then runs out and chases Roode and Ray out of the ring before checking on Storm as we head into a commercial break.
Match 4: Tara vs. Gail Kim
Madison Rayne accompanies Gail Kim down to the ring for this non-title match. The bell rings and Tara takes Gail down a couple of times before hitting Gail with a standing moonsault for a two count. Madison then causes a distraction as Gail takes control of the match. Gail begins to work over Tara’s knee before taking her down with a clothesline. Gail continues to wear down Tara and takes her down with a neckbreaker, however, she misses with a high risk move.
Tara uses this opening to fight her way back into the match and takes Gail down with a back body drop. Tara then hits Gail with a snap slam and Madison runs into the ring but accidentally hits Gail. Tara then tosses Madison out to the floor and hits Gail with the Widow’s Peak to pick up the pin fall. We are treated to replay of the match before seeing Madison help Gail to the back.
Garret Bischoff is walking backstage and we are moments away to see who has been training him as we head into a commercial break.
Garret Bischoff makes his way to the ring and grabs a microphone. Garret thanks the fans for having his back and supporting him. Garret is about to introduce who has been training him but he is cut off by his father’s music. Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring with Gunner and tells his son that his trainer is not in the building, however, they are interrupted by Hulk Hogan’s music.
Hogan makes his way to the ring to a loud ovation. Hogan then comes into the ring as both Hogan and Garret take out Gunner with a series of punches as Bischoff stands in the corner of the ring. Gunner is tossed out to the floor and they turn their attention to Bischoff, but Gunner drags Bischoff out of the ring. Hogan and Garret then shake hands as Bischoff and Gunner make their way to the back. Hogan then rips off his shirt and plays to the fans and we are told we will be hearing from both Hogan and Bischoff after the commercial break.
Hulk Hogan is backstage saying that Eric Bischoff can run, but he can’t hide. Hogan says they will hunt him out and says he has very little time left. He continues to say that once they sniff him out he will feed Bischoff to Garret and then he will pick up the left overs. Garret says he loved seeing his father’s face when Hogan’s music hit.
Match 5: Bully Ray vs. James Storm
The bell rings as Bully Ray asks James Storm about his taped ribs and promises to break them. Storm then spits in Rays face and hits Ray with a series of rights, but Ray comes back with a knee to the midsection that drops Storm down to the mat. Ray begins to focus on the injured ribs and locks Storm in a camel clutch. Ray then slams Storm down to the mat and Bobby Roode makes his way down to the ringside area as we head into a commercial break.
We return to the match and see Sting come down to the ring with a cricket bat. In the ring, Ray continues to wear down Storm’s ribs by locking in a bear hug but Storm fights his way out of it only to be taken down with a big boot. Ray picks up a near fall after hitting a couple of elbow drops and continues to work over Storm’s midsection. Ray hits a splash to pick up another two count before heading to the middle rope but misses with a back splash.
Storm makes his way to his feet and nails Ray with a series of strikes before leveling Ray with a clothesline. Storm then hangs Ray up on the top rope before picking up a near fall with a cross body block from the top rope. Ray is able to counter Storm with a side slam for another near fall, however, the referee finds himself in a collision with both Ray and Storm. Roode tries to enter the ring but Sting chases him out with the cricket bat. Roode, Ray and the referee all recover at the same time as Storm nails Ray with a Last Call superkick to pick up the pin fall.
We are treated to replays of the match as Storm celebrates his victory along with Sting. The announcers then tell us that TNA will be back in London next week for a special Star Wars edition of Impact Wrestling as the show comes to a close.
