MMAFighting.com is reporting that CM Punk’s UFC debut will be delayed. The former WWE champion is having back surgery in Chicago due to a herniated disc.
Mickey Gall (2-0) was announced as Punk’s first opponent after his 45 second submission victory at UFC Fight Night on Saturday.
Gall vs. Punk was tentatively scheduled for the main card of June’s UFC 199, which is headlined by the middleweight title rematch between Luke Rockhold (c) and Chris Weidman.
