ESPN tries to project John Cena’s final matches in WWE:
• John Cena defeats Randy Orton at Backlash (May)
• Jey Uso defeats John Cena to retain the World Heavyweight Championship at MITB (June)
• John Cena defeats CM Punk at SNME (July)
• John Cena and Travis Scott defeat Cody Rhodes and Bad Bunny at SummerSlam (August)
• Joe Hendry defeats John Cena via DQ at TNA Victory Road (September)
• John Cena defeats Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel (November)
• Cody Rhodes defeats John Cena to become Undisputed Champion at SNME (December)
If Cody doesn’t get his win back in December, it will be the Rock or Roman who takes it off of Cena and Rock or Roman Vs Cody or Triple Threat at Mania 42 with Cody winning.
I honestly don’t see Cena retiring as a heel. I’m thinking a double turn in the final match between Cody and Cena. Cody cheats to get the belt back, thus screwing Cena out of retiring as a champ.
It’s possible that fans won’t accept Cena as a heel through December. If that’s the case, we have a heel Cody and face Cena going into the last match. Again, with Cody winning and going on to become a huge heel.
I’m on a conspiracy theory kick today but the rock is gonna screw cena on his last match and become champ and cena goes out with fans cheering him
100% Cena will be a face when he walks up the ramp for the last time, even if it happens in the closing moments of his final match. 99.99% Cena will not appear at a TNA event (never say never, but come on). The MITB one is confusing to say the least. Crown Jewel feels off if they’re going to continue with the champ vs. champ “Crown Jewel title” thing. The rest of it is as plausible as anything else.
@What?–Change the MITB match to Jey going for Cena’s belt and have Cena get DQ’d when he realizes he’s going lose and it works. That seems more plausible than Cena getting DQ’d at a TNA event.
